Canvas Crew After-School Club: Robots, Circuits & Engineering

Create. Imagine. Express.

In this 90-minute after-school club, students will explore the exciting world of robotics, coding, circuits, and engineering challenges. Each week brings hands-on activities where kids design, build, and problem-solve using real tools and technology. From coding robots to creating working circuits and tackling engineering challenges, students will grow their critical thinking and teamwork skills while having fun.

 

Perfect for curious minds who love to experiment, invent, and discover how things work!

 

Ages: Kindergarten – 6th grade

 

Before- and after-care are available for an additional fee (advance sign-up required). Purchase all sessions in the series and save! 

 

Please note: no refunds or credits are given for missed classes.

What to Bring:  A water bottle and a nut-free snack if registered for Before or Aftercare.  Please no personal toys, electronics, or art supplies. 

Skills:

·       Basic robotics and coding principles, circuit building and hands-on engineering.

·       Understanding cause and effect and logical reasoning and sequencing.

·       Trial-and-error experimentation with planning, testing and improving designs.

·       Enhancing memory and focus.

·       Using tools and technology safely, handling wires, connectors and small parts.

·       Teamwork and communication, sharing ideas and materials.

·       Managing frustration when designs don't work and celebrating persistence and learning through failure.

·       Building self-confidence.
